Ozzie McCowan is the founder and managing partner of Clearpoint Capital. An entrepreneur all his life he knows the highs and lows of starting a business, scaling a business and exiting a business. He seeks out technology opportunities that can make a difference and change the world.
Reading a book about his hero Reginald F. Lewis the first black billionaire, provided him with an unwavering passion to help underserved entrepreneurs obtain access to capital, allowing them to pursue their dreams. He is an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan, and his hobbies include reading, motivational speaking and basketball training.
He attended San Jose State University and then to USC Marshall school of business where he received a graduate certificate in financial analysis.

Trevor Marks is a Partner at Clearpoint Capital responsible for overseeing all operations within the company including the venture funds partnerships, investor relations, financial reporting, valuation analysis and compliance. He works closely with our portfolio companies on strategic plans and merger and acquisition or IPO opportunities. He instructs the overall team on analytical modeling of the venture funds portfolio investments.
Trevor is passionate about building great companies and bringing game changing products to market that create unique and clear value for customers. He loves building amazing teams and have spent 15 years in the technology and financial industries, working with some great entrepreneurs, founders and partner investors, creating value every step of the way. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, playing golf, traveling and walking his 2 poodles.
He received a degree in Business Finance from the University of Southern California.

Brian Holmes is an analyst, responsible for identifying and focusing on untapped markets with extraordinary growth opportunities for Clearpoint Capital. He actively engages with companies to discuss revenue generation, strategic partnerships, exit strategies and merger and acquisition opportunities through financial analysis and market research.
He is excited about the far-reaching impact that artificial intelligence, robotics and enterprise software are already making throughout the world and is a major supporter of entrepreneurs who push the envelope to new horizons. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, spending time with his family, traveling and boxing.
With a degree in Accounting & Finance Brian graduated from the University of Arizona.

Malik McCowan is an Associate that analyzes opportunities. He is responsible for new deal origination and the sourcing, evaluation and execution of new opportunities. Young and talented he adds value and relates to young entrepreneurs that might have the next big idea.
Malik played college basketball ball and the team lessons learned are some of the same lessons that allows him to be an important part of our team. He is also the co-founder of Worldwide Basketball, a sports program dedicated to helping young men and women on and off the court. In his spare time, he enjoys playing NBA 2K, staying fit, playing poker and spending quality time with his friends.
A graduate of Cal State East Bay University with a major in Business he plans on being a major player in the venture capital arena with his own fund.

Adam Child is an Associate responsible for commercial lending and finance transactions. He comes to us via our sister company Clearpoint Acquisitions where he was responsible for strategic growth in both revenue and referral partners.
He has over 10 years of finance experience which allows him to research and recommend the best solutions for some entrepreneurs who may not need venture capital but still need financing of some sort. He maintains relationships with funding sources and consultants that can provide services and or capital to our clients. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, playing tennis and spending time with his family.
He obtained his master's degree in marketing as well as Finance from the University of Utah.
He has over 10 years of finance experience which allows him to research and recommend the best solutions for some entrepreneurs who may not need venture capital but still need financing of some sort.
